Why are water-based pumps so much more effective compared to their air counterparts?

Well, it has something to water’s thermal properties – water can simply hold a lot more heat energy compared to air.

This is very important because it improves the blood flow and the amount of blood that your penis can contain (aka. your penis size). The hot water helps the tissue in your penis to expand and allows it to contain more blood.

A: You need to have access to warm water and a sink, shower, or bathtub.

These are the steps to get you started:

  1. Hold your penis pump under your warm water tap and fill it up. The water should not be boiling hot but above your body temperature.
  2. You might need to hold a finger on the valve to prevent water from running out.
  3. Place the hydro pump under your penis and spread your legs slightly.
  4. Move the pump up around your penis and make sure your testicles don’t get into the pump. (it’s impossible to avoid water getting out!)
  5. Move the pump more horizontally once the base of the pump connects with your body.
  6. Pump out water to create a suction seal and slowly pump more and more water out until you get a strong erection.
  7. Hold the vacuum for 2 to 3 min before sex if you’re after an erection or use it for 15 to 20 min. if you’re after size and erection training. You can repump during the session if you lose the vacuum.

You can split up the session and add new warm water in the middle if it gets cold.

A: You don’t need to but it’s strongly advised that you do it to get the maximum out of your pump. This is especially true if you’re after size gains since it requires more consistent training.

  • Week 1-2 – Use the pump between 5 to 10 min. each pumping session. Take 3-4 pumping sessions per week.
  • Week 3-4 – Increase the duration to 10 to 15 min. and add one pumping session each week, so between 4-5 sessions per week.
  • Week 5-6 – Increase the session duration to between 15 and 20 min and add yet another pumping session per week, so 5-6 sessions per week.
  • Week +7 – Keep the sessions around 15 to 20 min. long 6 times a week. It’s important to get one rest day each week.

You can cut the sessions up in 2 or 3 where you refill the pump with warm water.

<strong>Q:</strong> Why are water penis pumps more expensive compared to air penis pumps?

A: Water-based penis pumps can withstand a lot more vacuum so the materials are a lot stronger and generally made of better quality. I’ve had an air-based pump that collapsed after a couple of sessions, so please stay away from cheap eBay/Amazon stuff. It’s simply not worth the risk!

<strong>Q:</strong> Can I clean my pump in the dishwasher?

A: Yes, but I would not recommend it since the acrylic tube will become mat and un-transparent with time. The soap taps you put in the dishwasher contains some stuff that works a bit like sandpaper and that’s what’s causing it.

A: You should use oil-based lube, it’s not necessary to use lube but putting some on the base of the pump will help maintain a strong seal between the pump and your skin.
